Finally

It’s a big day for this country. I believe today signifies an end to the culture wars of the past two decades and the start of an important new direction for America. With the economic collapse still happening we will not have the luxury of debating moral grounds and will have to start innovating again. History tells us that great leaps are ahead for us regardless of today’s outcome. We simply don’t have the choice, which is something I’ve not seen in my lifetime. We’ve always had the ability to decide on things, big and small, based on our own data or ideology. Big things today seemed small at the time, like buying a low mileage car or refinancing the house with a crazy three year ARM loan.  And really big things, like invading another country, won the collective conscious of the nation. This seems like a long time ago. I imagine one day we will share stories of the past decade as is still done regarding the roaring 20′s. But we will have learned how to build real wealth and sustainable value.

Our new leader has a big job on his hands and fortunately culture warrior can’t be one of them. We’re too smart to let that happen.
